Interpretations services are available for patients in all areas of health and dental services. An on call provider is available 24/7 by calling (540) 433-4913.

Routine Childhood & School Immunizations

  • Available to all area students age 4 years – 21 years
  • Provided to students who are uninsured, privately insured, and/or insured with Medicaid
  • Note: A well-child check or physical is not required and students do not need to be an established patient of HCHC to access this service

COVID-19 Vaccines:

Fall 2023 Update—The FDA and CDC approved a new COVID-19 product for the 2023-2024 season. HCHC is in the process of transitioning to the new products and has temporarily paused COVID vaccine clinics. An announcement will be made when we have the new supply to resume this service offering to the community.

Full Service Dispensing Pharmacy

Clinical Pharmacy

  • As part of each patient’s health care team, a pharmacist is available to meet with any patient in a private setting. Pharmacists work with each patient and his/her providers to develop an individualized medication plan. Pharmacists help patients manage their medications by addressing concerns like cost issues, total number of pills prescribed, side effects, drug interactions, and monitoring and dealing with multiple medical providers.
  • Pharmacists are part of the patient’s medical team and help manage many chronic diseases, including:  Diabetes, Hypertension, Asthma, etc. Any action items or issues are immediately addressed by the patient’s medical team.

Birth Control Prescribing

  • HCHC Pharmacists can prescribed birth control for HCHC patients age 18 and older
  • Walk-in clinic at HCHC Pharmacy on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 1-5 pm
  •  FDA approved birth control offered:  injectable depot medroxyprogesterone acetate, transdermal patches, vaginal rings, oral contraceptives
