We are seeking an experienced Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner who has an expansive scope of practice, which encompasses care for women starting at adolescence, through pregnancy (pre-conception through post-partum) and menopause; experience in gynecological services that includes contraception counseling, STI screening and treatment, LARC insertion, diagnosis and treatment of common gynecological problems, well woman care, and evaluation & treatment of fertility. We are seeking a WHNP who is interested in working in a primary care medical home that utilizes a team-based approach to delivering healthcare and integrates behavioral health services into the delivery of primary care.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF ROLE AND DUTIES
The role of Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) at HCHC is to provide high quality primary health care services to patients of the Health Center utilizing a team based model to support the Mission and Vision of HCHC. The WHNP utilizes the health center supported electronic health record as a means of documenting and reviewing patient care services rendered or ordered. The NP is board certified or board eligible licensed practitioner. The WHNP is a member of the clinical team at HCHC. The WHNP, unless otherwise noted, does not have formal supervisory authority over other Health Center staff. However, the WHNP is expected to contribute to the ongoing knowledge enhancement of other clinical staff in order to achieve the best possible clinical outcomes for Health Center patients.
The WHNP will work to achieve the access to care, quality metric and patient satisfaction goals established by the Health Center.
The WHNP will be provided an employment agreement that may elaborate on specific activities such as participation in peer review, Quality Improvement initiatives, and other activities that respond to and ensure the long-term viability of the HCHC.
Annual evaluations will encompass efforts that support the HCHC mission and team goals. The WHNP and HCHC will negotiate any agreement for medical practice outside of HCHC, providing such practice does not interfere with the WHNP obligations to the Health Center. All NPs will work under the guidelines of the collaborating physician agreement.
