Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM)

Harrisonburg Community Health Center is seeking an experienced and vibrant Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) for our rapidly growing women’s health and perinatal program in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley of Virginia.

If you are committed to serving a multicultural community and women of all ages and backgrounds; if you are energized by working independently within a supportive team that includes primary care, peds, dental, and behavioral health, we are a great option for your practice. The position is ideally suited for someone experienced with full-scope midwifery care, and general gynecological procedures and ready to have nights, holidays and weekends free – position does not currently involve call for birth.

If desired, opportunity for call coverage and birthing services can be explored with our OBGYN Collaborator and Partner.

We are a Federally Qualified Health Center, with about half our clients best served in a language other than English. We employ interpreters in several languages and a multilingual nursing staff. We have added colposcopy, LARCs, and perinatal care within the last 18 months, and with a recently received March of Dimes grant, the health center implemented Centering Pregnancy. We offer a competitive salary, full benefits, flexible schedule options, yearly CME budget, and 6 weeks paid vacation annually. Highly desirable location – Harrisonburg is a small city with 3 universities, located 30 minutes from Shenandoah National Park, and two hours south of Washington, DC, but with a very reasonable cost of living. We look forward to hearing from you!
